Chunky Nachos

I never really knew what to with turkey mince until my Mum suggested this recipe to me. Mexican food has also been a big love of mine and being able to make it in your own kitchen is even better. My last recipe post did really well so I want to make this into something more on my blog! I am in no aspects a brilliant cook, I'm just average, but this recipe will suit anyone's ability. It probably makes enough for around 2-3 people and depending on portion size it will probably stretch to 4 as we always have seconds! In the above picture is all the ingredients you need and as you can see they are all very simple. This is not for people who are on a diet but could be modified to being healthier as the cheese is the only really unhealthy bit! Here is what you do...

Ingredients:

500g of turkey mince
1 x Packet of Smoky BBQ Fajitas seasoning
Cheese of any kind that you want to sprinkle over
Sour Cream to top
1 x Pot of Salsa (I tend to go with ones with onions in so I don't need to add extra)
Any type of plain, salted Nachos

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to around 200 degrees.

2. Cook the turkey mince in a frying pan until fully cooked.

3. Add the smoky BBQ seasoning mix and salsa and mix thoroughly.

4. Get an averaged sized oven proof dish and layer with nachos on the bottom. Then add the mix from the frying pan with another layer of nachos on top.

5. Finally, add cheese all over the top and place in the oven for around 5-10 mins until the cheese has melted.

Then the final result looks something like this and oh my it is lovely!

If anyone tried it let me know and I hope you LOVE IT!
